Chicken Little

Is it a case of the “chicken little’s”, or are our concerns over the Red Sox legit?

The Rumble in Tampa starts tonight, 7:05pm.

Tampa has their pitching lined up as they will mound Shields, Garza and Kazmir. Boston will have Masterson, Wake, and Matsuzaka going.

Tampa is 7-3 in their last 10, while Boston broke even at 5-5.

Crisp will miss the series because of the June 5th brawl. Iwamura will miss the game tonight as he is finishing up his three game suspension.

This could become a seriously tense game, with major players on both sides unable to perform on the night, which could make bringing out the team’s best game a lot more difficult.

But such is baseball, and all sports - injuries are part of the career, and dealing with them should reveal the Red Sox competency for compensating for a loss of good players before a big game. Whether you’re planning on glueing yourself to the TV or to Go to cheekybingo.com during the game, it’ll be one to watch; that much is certain.

I hope, hope, hope, that it’s just a case of the “chicken little’s,” but as of right now, the Sox are down 5-2 and not looking so hot. Ugh.

We had a little hiccup on our servers last night. We attempted to log in and tally up the tickets, but the servers were down. Expect a posting today about the winners.
