We have been MIA the past couple days. We’ve missed commenting on Gabe’s return, missed talking about Jon Lester’s no-hitter, and even missed mentioning how good Justin Masterson has looked in his two starts for the Red Sox. Let’s chalk it up to some pretty tense times in TheYawkeyWay.com office. You see, when the Celtics decide it will be fun to go seven games with Cleveland and then turn around on a days rest to face Detroit, agida tends to kicks into high gear. Writing took a back seat to popping Prilosec and screaming at the television set. We apologize.
Luckily, there are some things you just can’t hold back mentioning. We just stumbled upon this gem.
That’s right! Because of a few costly divorces, he has had to foreclose on his house and resort to punching you in the face for cash.
Canseco and Damon Feldman, his promoter, are looking for a challenger to fight half of the once imposing Bash Brothers duo on July 12 at the Bernie Robbins Stadium in Atlantic City.
Some reports are saying the Jose Canseco fight will be mixed martial arts, and that he is looking for three challengers who are over 200 lbs.
The challenger(s) will supposedly receive $5,000 cash for lasting three rounds with Canseco.
If you are interested, just email Jose Canseco at fightcanseco@aol.com.
Tickets will be available through Center Stage, 800-677-8499.
Some of us are waiting for Curt Schilling to throw his hat in the ring. Seriously, what does he have to lose, especially after Colon pitches a gem tonight?
