Should We Tell You Ortiz You?

As you all probably know, David Ortiz was put on the 15-day DL. There will be a black cast on his wrist for two weeks, and some reports have us trying to deal with 30 days of the DTs as we go through Big Papi withdrawals (some reports say longer)!

Here are a couple things to think about:

• After tonight, Josh Beckett will have the Red Sox back in first place.
• JD Drew may keep his big boy pants on while we are in the absence of Ortiz.
• Aren’t you the least bit interested in seeing Manny at DH and the best defensive outfield in baseball take the field?(Crisp, Ellsbury, and Drew) Granted Tito may have to ask if they can hit off a tee, but a little small ball from time-to-time could be nice.
